Over 300 safe rides have been provide to local teens since the beginning of this school year. (Dec. 4, 2011)

The Los Gatos SafeRides program runs every Friday and Saturday when school is in session between 10:00pm and 2:00am. We offer confidential rides to Los Gatos/Saratoga teens. We are here to keep the teens of the community safe. Please support our cause and volunteer for the program. All Student volunteers will recieve community service hours for their time spent at SafeRides.

We have many volunteer oppertunities which include:

• Dispatcher - It is the dispatchers responsibilty to answer phones and take down the information from the callers and to keep in touch with the Driver/Navigator teams. The Dispatcher can be any age.
• Navigator - The Navigator accompanies the Driver when the vehicle leaves base. It is the Navigators responsibilty to guide the Driver if needed and keep in touch with the Dispatcher. The Navigator can be any age.
• Driver - The Driver uses their own car to pick up teens that call SafeRides. It is the Drivers responisbilty to pick up/drop off teens at their house in a safe manner. The Driver must have an un-restricted drivers license as well as insurance coverage.

We are also in need of Adult Volunteers. To be an adult volunteer you must be 23 years of age or older. The Adult is not required to perform any of the Driver/Navigator/Dispatcher roles, but must be present at all times in The Venue.
